To Know How To Use A Fat Smash Diet

Dr. Ian Smith created a television show for VH1 called Celebrity Fit Club, in which celebrities competed to lose weight, and along with the show created a diet called the fat smash diet. The diet is based on changing bad habits in both eating and exercise.

Ian Smith’s resume prior to creating the fat smash diet is impressive. In addition to sitting on the board for the American Council on Exercise, he is a health consultant for well known television shows and a columnist for many health magazines. Celebrity Fit Club, the show he created and for which he served as head judge, was based on the fat smash diet.

The fat smash diet is designed to create healthy habits through implementing four distinct phases:

One – detox: During this nine day phase of the fat smash diet people purge their bodies and minds of bad things, while losing up to six pounds. This phase includes some strange but ineffective suggestions such as weighing yourself in the nude and being photographed in a bathing suit.

Two – foundation: This is a three-week phase of the fat smash diet during which many foods removed in the detox phase are re-added to the diet. People can eat, for example, small amounts of meat – it has to do with controlling portions rather than counting calories.

Three – construction: This a four-week phase is a time during which the dieter creates an eating plan that incorporates foods they enjoy. Whereas Atkins forbids these foods like white breads and desserts, the fat smash diet embraces them, in moderation.

Four – Temple: This part of the fat smash diet lasts a life time. People utilize the lessons learned about moderation to protect the temple the built throughout the first three phases.

Fat smash diet has both good and bad aspects.  The initial 6 to 10 pound weight loss is really due to severe calorie cutting which can be dangerous. A lot of health experts say the detox phase is ridiculous.  However the lessons of moderation and exercise proposed by the fat smash diet are good ones.
