Alex Crisses Concentrates On Enterprise Investments And Charitable Work

Alex Crisses is a Managing Director at Insight Venture Partners. He joined up with Insight in 2002. He is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business through the University of Pennsylvania. Moreover, he earned a Master of Business Administration with High Distinction through Harvard Business School. He graduated as a Baker Scholar from Harvard. Previous to joining Insight, he worked as an investment-banking analyst. This was with the Global Energy and Power Group of Credit Suisse First Boston. Currently, he invests in expansion and late-stage software, Internet, and data-enabled businesses.

Alex Crisses is a specialist in the Venture Capital & Private Equity arena. Based in NYC, he invests in progressive technology organizations. He has invested in Shunra Software and GFI Software. He was a GFI Software Board of Directors member. He had a leadership role in Insight’s investment in SolarWinds, Inc. Mr. Crisses also served as an observer on the Board of Directors of Scriptologic Corporation. His commitment is to investing in progressive and innovative organizations.

Alex Crisses is a supporter of non-profit Minds Matter. He was Minds Matter’s Director of Fundraising and Executive Committee member. This charitable organization is for students that have achieved high school educational success. Minds Matter helps prepare these students for higher education. Students in their Junior Program work with mentors to improve their interviewing, oral presentation, and writing abilities. The organization’s Senior Program helps students through the college application process. Minds Matter also has a Sophomore Program. These programs help students in starting out on the right career path.
